How to get here:
Private pick-up:
- If you like we can arrange to have you or your group met at Manila airport.
We’ll pick you up by private air-con van for a leisurely 3-hour drive to
the Batangas Pier. Once there we’ll have a boat waiting for you for a pleasant
1.5-hour trip directly to South Sea Divers on Sabang Beach. This service
is available anytime day or night - so you don’t necessarily have to spend
a night in Manila. The total cost for the service is only Php 5,400
for up to 6 people. Definitely the easy way to do it!!!
Tourist Class Transportation:
- Recommended is the SiKAT bus and ferry service.
It departs every morning at 8:00am from the City State Tower Hotel, 135A. Mabini Street in Ermita,
Manila. This service costs
600 pesos per person (about
US$ 12.00). Their telephone number is 012-400-1242.
Public Transportation:
- I don’t really recommend taking public buses to the Batangas Pier, however
if you do go by bus, private car or taxi make sure you get to Terminal 3
of the Batangas pier. This is where all the public ferries depart for Puerto Galera,
Sabang Beach or nearby Balatero..
- There are almost hourly departures throughout the day from 8:30am until
5:00pm. A one-way fare is 200 pesos (about $4.00)
for the 1.5 to 2-hour ride, depending on the boat.
Note: Do not be misled into hiring a private boat unless
you arrive at the pier after 5:00pm. this can cost you up to 2500 pesos
(us$ 50.00)!
